Divoom Times Frame Pure features

Three optical layers instead of plain glass

Under the tempered glass sits a transparent LCD, and behind it a nano light-guide plate that lights the image from within. The result reads less like a picture on a backing and more like an object with its own depth. The effect is strongest on shots with dark backgrounds and on silhouettes.

Honest colour instead of light around the frame

Pure deliberately drops the RGB light bar and leans on factory panel calibration instead. Skin tones in portraits and greens in landscapes do not drift cold or oversaturated, and attention stays on the picture itself. In a bedroom, living room or bright study that reads calmer than coloured ambient light.

A knob on the body — no phone required

The rotary knob on the side steps through screens, albums and clock faces. That is handy when the frame sits on a desk: you can change the view one-handed without unlocking a phone. The app stays for uploading content and fine-tuning.

A gift that powers on already set up

The startup screen and the first album can be prepared in advance, so the recipient switches the frame on and immediately sees your photos and message. Themed albums for a birthday, a wedding anniversary or a baby's first year take a couple of minutes to assemble in the app. A screen cloth and a USB-C cable are included.

Divoom Times Frame Pure is the calmer take on Divoom's transparent photo frame. It is built on a proprietary three-layer optical stack — tempered glass, a transparent LCD and a nano light-guide backplate — which together create the floating-image effect, so a picture appears to lift off the surface of the screen.

What separates Pure from the larger model is the presentation. There is no RGB light bar on the side; instead the panel is colour-calibrated at the factory, so portraits and landscapes come through in true-to-life tones without extra light spilling around the shot. The housing is minimal, with a physical rotary knob on the side for flipping between screens without touching a phone.

The 32 GB of built-in storage holds more than 280,000 photos or 2,400 minutes of video, and content is sent from the Divoom app over Wi-Fi 6, including remotely. Alongside albums there are 50+ widget apps and 400+ dynamic clock faces: weather, calendar, notes, finance tickers, a Pomodoro timer, alarms and countdowns.

Questions

How does Times Frame Pure differ from the regular Times Frame?
Pure is the quieter version: it has no RGB light bar and half the storage, 32 GB against 64 GB. In exchange the panel is factory-calibrated for natural tones and the body gains a rotary knob. The widget and clock-face library is comparable: 50+ apps and 400+ faces.
How many photos fit, and is internet required?
The 32 GB of built-in memory holds more than 280,000 photos or 2,400 minutes of video, and albums play locally. Wi-Fi is needed to push new content from the app, including remotely, and to refresh widgets such as weather and tickers.
Can the frame be used without a phone?
Yes. The rotary knob on the body switches screens, albums and clock faces, so day-to-day use needs no smartphone. The Divoom app is required for initial setup, uploading photos and picking new widgets.
This is a preorder — when will it be here?
Preorders open on 18 November 2026. After a GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order, delivery takes about a month; we will let you know as soon as the frame arrives and is ready for pickup.
