Divoom D-Base features

Fits under a monitor and stays out of the way

The body is 74.43 mm tall and 380.16 mm long. This is a case where the dimensions matter more than the spec sheet: the soundbar fits into the gap between the desk and the bottom edge of a monitor, so the screen does not have to move and there is no hunting for space for two separate speakers. Thicker silicone feet damp vibration, and the matte finish does not collect fingerprints.

Two woofers, two tweeters, a 24-bit DSP

The low end comes from two 44 x 80 mm drivers and the top from two 28 mm tweeters; together that is a 2.2 layout and 2 x 15 W of output. The range starts at 65 Hz and the signal-to-noise ratio is at least 90 dB. Before amplification the signal passes through a 24-bit DSP with a spatial gaming mode, which makes footsteps and gunshots easier to place, while the music profile returns the sound to an even balance.

Lighting you can actually tune

Neon RGB strips run along the body: 15 dynamic modes, music sync among them. Every mode is configured in the Divoom app, so the lighting can be matched to the rest of the desk instead of living with one factory preset. If the light is not wanted, it can simply be switched off, which does not affect the sound.

Three inputs and two charging ports

A computer connects over USB, a phone over Bluetooth 6.0, a TV or projector through the 3.5 mm AUX cable. One genuinely practical detail: the body carries two USB-C ports that deliver up to 35 W to one device or 18 W each to two at once. A phone and headphones charge straight from the soundbar, which frees up a socket on the desk.

Mains powered, so the bar itself never needs charging

The D-Base runs on 100-240 V mains and has no internal battery. For a desktop device that is an advantage: there is no charge level to watch and the output does not sag by the end of the evening. The flip side is obvious and worth planning for: it cannot be taken outdoors or on a trip, because it needs a socket.

The Divoom D-Base is a desktop soundbar made for a gaming desk. The 380 mm long body stands just 74.43 mm tall, which is deliberate: it slides under a monitor without covering the screen. Inside sit two 44 x 80 mm bass drivers and two 28 mm tweeters in a 2.2 layout, with 2 x 15 W of output, a 65 Hz - 20 kHz range and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 90 dB.

A 24-bit DSP handles the signal and adds a spatial gaming audio mode, while two profiles, music and gaming, switch on the unit itself. Controls are physical: a central multifunction button and a rotary volume dial. Neon RGB strips along the body support 15 dynamic modes and music sync, and are configured in the Divoom app.

There are three ways in: Bluetooth 6.0 for a phone or tablet, USB for a computer and 3.5 mm AUX for a TV or projector. Two things are worth noting: the D-Base runs on 100-240 V mains and has no internal battery, so it is meant to live on the desk, and its built-in USB-C ports deliver up to 35 W to one device or 18 + 18 W to two at once. Two built-in noise-cancelling microphones handle voice chat.

Questions

Will the D-Base fit under a monitor?
The body is 74.43 mm tall, 380.16 mm long and 80.55 mm deep. Before ordering, measure the gap between the desk surface and the bottom edge of the monitor: if it is more than 75 mm, the soundbar will slide underneath. With a smaller gap it usually sits in front of the monitor stand, where its 380 mm length still reads as part of the setup.
Does the D-Base run on a battery?
No. The D-Base runs on 100-240 V mains only and has no internal battery — it is a stationary desktop soundbar. It does hand power out, though: two USB-C ports give up to 35 W to one device or 18 + 18 W to two at the same time.
Is an app required for the lighting?
For fine tuning, yes: the 15 RGB modes and music sync are switched in the Divoom app for iOS and Android. The audio side is fully independent, though — music, gaming and profile switching all run from the button and the volume dial on the unit, with no phone involved.
Which colours are coming and how does the preorder work?
Two colours are supplied: black and pink. The model is sold on preorder, with orders opening on 18 November 2026; once a GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order, delivery takes about a month. The manager will confirm the colour separately when agreeing the order.
